فيلم روائي طويل تدور أحداثه على مدار ليلة واحدة مضطربة في بيروت، يتابع نهاد الذي يستأجر مصورًا سينمائيًا يعاني صعوبات مادية بآخر 300 دولار أمريكي يملكها، ليوثق ما يعتقد أنه سيكون نقطة تحول مفصلية في حياته. وبينما يتجولان في المدينة، تبدأ سلسلة من اللقاءات المحرجة، والانعطافات الاندفاعية، والاعترافات الصادمة في تفكيك خطته المحكمة. وما يبدأ كسردية مضبوطة يتحول تدريجيًا إلى شيء أكثر حميمية وغير متوقع، كاشفًا عن صورة رقيقة، وغالبًا مضحكة بشكل معتم، لرجلين يدوران حول أسئلة الهدف والهوية والتواصل. وبارتكازه على إيقاعات وتناقضات بيروت المعاصرة، يوازن الفيلم بين الفكاهة والهشاشة، مقدمًا قصة مؤثرة بهدوء عن اللحظات غير المتوقعة التي يمكن أن تغيّر الطريقة التي نرى بها أنفسنا وبعضنا البعض.^١

  وفق ما نشره صدى البلد، أعلنت الشركة المنتجة لفيلم "بطاطا شيبس عَ فِستُق" الذي يعتبر التجربة الإخراجية الأولى للممثل والمؤلف والفنان الكوميدي اللبناني فؤاد يمين، الذي يلعب أيضًا دور البطولة في الفيلم، الذي انتهى من تصويره في أكتوبر الماضي،… ويعتمد الفيلم أسلوبًا عفويًا مستوحى من أسلوب الدوغما، حيث يلتقط نبض بيروت الليلي، جامعًا بين السخرية الحادة والمشاعر الصادقة بلا أي قيود، وهو ما يؤسس رؤية يمين الخاصة وغير المألوف…
