ضابط بريطاني من القوات الخاصة البريطانية أثناء الحرب العالمية الثانية يتم القبض عليه وإجباره على القتال في معسكر اعتقال ياباني خلال الحرب العالمية الثانية، وقع قائد جناح سلاح الجو الملكي البريطاني، جيمس رايت، في أسر اليابانيين، وأُجبر على القتال بالأيدي. واجه الجنود اليابانيون تفوقًا كبيرًا عندما أثبتت سنوات تدريب رايت على فنون القتال في هونغ كونغ أنه خصمٌ لا يُقهر.
